Promotional marketing today is all about influencing people before you get to engage them — a concept I refer to as Digital Business Development. If you are a marketing professional, you’re quite familiar with the four Ps of Marketing (Product, Price, Place and Promotion). Digital Business Development incorporates a fifth P—PEOPLE. Not only your people, but also the people who make the decisions on whether or not to purchase your product.
